Class of 1991    September 30 - October 1, 2011

 Greetings from your class reunion committee. We will have our 20 year reunion on September 30 & October 1, 2011 during Homecoming. We have all been busy with the plans and have almost everything finalized. We are asking that you return your registration and questionnaire form by September 6, 2011. It is very important that you send your money in early so we will have money in the reunion account to begin paying deposits and reservation fees. The cost is $40.00 for singles and $60.00 per couple. This cost will pay rental fee for the pavilion, photographer, snack for Saturday night, and cost for the Stampede, all deposits, nametags and all postage and printing.  Here is the schedule of our plans for the Homecoming events:

 Friday, September 30, 2011:

2:00 For those of you in town early enough, meet in front of the Steer Gym before the pep rally to pick up T-shirts you ordered. If you didn’t order a shirt, be there at 2:30 for the pep rally. We will have a section for the Class of 1991.

4:00 Meet at the corner of 13^th and Austin if you plan on riding on the float in the parade. We will also be handing out ordered T-shirts there and we will wear our shirts on the float. If you didn’t order a shirt, just wear something black and gold.

7:30 Football game- We did not pre-reserve tickets, but if you are able to attend the game, we will have a section of bleachers blocked off for the Class of ’91 in section D. Tickets are $5.00 if bought before noon on Friday, September 30, 2011 at the ATC or $6.00 at the gate. Wear your reunion T-shirt if you ordered one if not black and gold.

10:30 We are looking into meeting some place after the game…..info to follow. If you have any ideas please let us know.

9:00-12:00 Alumni basketball game- Steer gym All Alumni interesting in playing on a team need to fill out the information on your registration form and send in fee. All information will be given to Shawn Settles and/or Jennifer Hendleman to assign teams. Please remember to have court shoes, non-marking soles.

11:30 Family picnic at the Settlers pavilion in the park. Bring your family, picnic food and a blanket so you have something to sit on in case the weather is nice enough to sit out from under the pavilion.  Dress is casual.

1:00 Group picture at the Settlers pavilion. Please try to be a part of this. The cost of the 8x10 picture is $12.00 and can be purchased thru your registration form. Pictures will be given out at the dance.

2:00 Hall of Fame- this will be time to tour the school for memories and to be a part of the Hall of Fame. We are still waiting to hear back from Mr. Bond on the activity at this time.

7:45 Classmate memorial at the Stampede. We will do a short memorial before the dance to remember our classmates who have passed away.**Del White, Ricky Prater and Tim Osmulski

8:00-12:00 Dance at the Stampede on Snyder hwy. It is BYOB (no glass bottles) and finger foods, water and cokes will be provided. We will have a DJ and during the night we will give out awards for a variety of items that the Class of ’91 voted for.

 If your picture was not in the yearbook, please send a snapshot from around 1991 so we may use it for your nametag. Send those to us no later than 9/15/11 or your nametag will not have a picture.

 Motel Reservations: The manager of the “new” Hampton Inn has given the Class of ’91 a special rate. The hotel is located at 805 W I-20. The phone # is 432-264-9800 and request Class of ’91 for the special rate: double beds $79.00 and king $69.00. There are only 13 rooms available. There are other hotels available: Best Western 432-264-1500, Days Inn 432-267-5237 or 800-329-7466, Holiday Inn Express 432-263-1657, LaQuinta Inn & Suites 432-264-0222, Super 8 432-267-4553. Don’t wait too long to call….remember there are A LOT of reunions this year so rooms are going fast.

T-shirts: These will be black Gildan brand 50/50 tees with a black and vegas gold design. Please send your money and size for t-shirts with registration form as well. 

Please mail in your registration and questionnaire today. If you are unable to attend, please return the questionnaire anyway so we may use the information to put together an address book. We hope you can attend. We’re sure you will be glad you did!
