BSHS CLASS OF 1999 REUNION

This is a late
addition to the information that follows it, and which has
been on for several weeks:

HELLO CLASS OF
1999!! We are very excited about the reunion this
year! Leslie and I have worked very hard to make
our 10 year reunion a success and we hope everyone
enjoys themselves this weekend. Here is our
itinerary for all the festivities. If you have any
questions about any of the events, please don't
hesitate to contact me @ 432-213-0257. We look
forward to seeing everyone at the reunion!

Friday
We will begin decorating the
float at 1PM on Friday. Please plan on meeting in
the Displays of Splendor parking lot (700 E. FM
700). From there, depending on how fast we get the
float done, Mike Moates will drop us off at the Big
Spring High School Auditorium to attend the pep
rally at 3PM and then afterwards, we can just walk
over to the parade line up. (We are trying to avoid
having everyone try to find a spot for their cars)
Please bring a couple of bags of candy to give out
to the kids and KIDS ARE WELCOME to ride the
float. After the parade, Mike Moates will take us
back to the Displays of Splendor parking lot to our
cars.
Kick off for the football game
is 7:30 PM. Please look for our class banner. As
of right now, I do not know the exact spot we have
been designated. I'm waiting to hear back from Lane
Bond. [editors note: I have written
Jennifer to go exercise squatters rights before the
game. Just look for the class banner..

Saturday
Our family picnic will be from
11AM - 1PM on top of Scenic Mountain in the small
pavilion. Again, look for our class banner. We
will provide finger foods, IE. sandwiches, vegetable
and fruit tray, chips, cookies and drinks. At the
picnic, we will give away some small awards and
prizes. Please bring your little ones to show them
off to everyone!
The social gathering will be
at John Wesley's for classmates and their
spouses/partners. You may come whenever you want,
there is no time set for the social. We were unable
to book the entire building due to lack of funds.
We will be sharing with Coahoma (they rented the top
part) and the general public. Depending on how much
money we have left over, we will buy as many rounds
of drinks as we can.
We didn't get enough t-shirt
orders in to order by the deadline. Maybe we can do
them for the next reunion.
If you did not
pre-register for the reunion, it's ok, you can still
come to the reunion; WE HOPE YOU WILL! If you can,
print out a registration form and bring it to the
first event you attend (pep rally, parade, game
etc.) and give it to me; I am going to do my best to
be present the entire time at each event. I've
attached a map of the parade route and registration
form for y'all.

Hello class of 1999!
We are
excited to announce that our 10 year class reunion is set
for September 18th and 19th, 2009. The reunion will include
the following events:
Sept. 18:
Friday
Afternoon Pep Rally (3:00) Steer Gym
Parade
(3:45) We have a trailer to ride together on. Bring 2 bags
of candy.
Parade
starts at 4:00 (don' t be late). Kids welcome. Meeting
location is pending. More info to come.
Friday
Night BSHS Foot ball game- You
will have to buy your own ticket at the game. Look
for our
class banner for Class of 1999 section!
Sept. 19:
Saturday
Afternoon Meet and Greet with the whole
family-Scenic Mountain Park and Playground
11:00-1:00-Snacks provided
Saturday
Night John Wesley's Downtown-We have
booked John Wesley's as a private
party for
our class 7:00-12:00. Bar tab is pending...so send your $$$
As you can imagine it is not
FREE to put on a Reunion event. We need your financial
contribution of $20.00 per adult ($40.00 per couple) to help
cover the costs.
So what does
your $20.00 ($40.00 per couple) get you? (Kids are free)
